Challenges Teens Face Today

As you can see in this title, teens face many challenges these days. Some of the major or most likely challenges they have is being a CTR person. Some people try to stop that goal by offering inappropriate things to them. Some may be alcohol, smoking, drugs, lying, rebellious, pressure, bullying, self-esteem, and much more. The two main challenges I’m facing right now would be stress and anxiety. When I’m mostly stressed out, or have anxiety, I try to take a break or relax once in awhile. By being a CTR person I can learn from my mistakes and try to overcome them. I can help others with my challenges by motivating them and increase their self-esteem.

Reflection: The greatest need a teen has would be phones, they can do many things with them, but they can be dangerous.

Physical Fitness

Why is it important to have a physical body? Well, most people do it to get in shape and not be embarrassed to be fat, but why is it good for you? Well, President John F. Kennedy told a specific quote that will specifically tell us why it is important to have a physical fitness body. He said, “Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. Intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong”. This quote tells it all. If we are going to have a physical fitness, we will become smarter than usual. The things that can stop you from having a healthy body and become smart can be drugs, tobacco, smoking, and more. Can you imagine a drunk, drugged person taking a speech?, THAT ISN'T A PHYSICAL CONDITION, MORE LIKE A MENTAL ONE. If you choose to exercise each day and live a healthy life you will be able to be in good conditions.

Health Sciences Librarian

Duties and Responsibilities:

Health Sciences Librarian is a librarian that looks for the information about a certain topic. They research and look through books to analyze what the patient has. These are most of the duties and responsibilities they have:

• Defines expert searching and provides the background on the issue;
• Articulates the role of health sciences librarians in the provision of expert searching
• And identifies a number of high-impact areas in which consultation and expert searching are critical to the success of the institution.

Salary: $66k per year

Education:

• Ear an A.S.
• Master’s and bachelor’s degree

Demand for this profession:

• Degree in Business Administration, Liberal Arts, or Computer Sciences

Reflection: I think it would be nice to have thjis job. All you will need to do is research, which is super easy.

Kindness

           "Kindness is the essence of greatness". This quote is a very important quote of how we all need Kindness. Joseph B. Wirthlin wanted us to know that kindness will give us honor and greatness. If there were an old lady walking with her groceries alone, the nicest thing to do is to carry it for her. Opening the door for others will help your kindness level. Giving gifts without having anything in return will help. All of these examples are acts of kindness, and will help you be greater.

Thanksgiving Week

         I had so much fun at thanksgiving week. To start off, on Monday, I was happy enough to hang out with my favorite cousin. Every monday is cousin night in which my cousin, Ruth, hangs out with Sara and I. We watched many movies that day. It's fun when she comes because we would do challenges, like the Bean Boozled Challenge, play games, or watch movies. At Tuesday, I also hanged out with Ruth, Laiza ( a friend), and Sara, after doing activities at pacific. Then we went to McDonalds and ate breakfast. We went to Ruth’s house and played games. Wednesday we went to help my mom work at her job. She cleans houses, and I like helping her =). Thursday was the day we woke up at 5 am to go to Mexicali at Mexico to visit our family. We stopped by Jack to get Breakfast. We got there around 11 pm. We ate sopes and hanged with the family. At Friday, we went to La Cachanilla, which is the mall at Mexicali. After that we went to a place called Frutal, which is our tradition in which when ever we go to Mexicali, we get ice cream there. Saturday we went to see our cousins play Soccer at their tournament. Finally, Sunday we went back home, and I was able to see my two dogs again, Charlie and Blackie. We relaxed the whole day. I loved my thanksgiving weekend.

Manners maketh man

         Have you ever heard of this quote? Well it was made from William Wykeham. He said, “Manners maketh man”. This quote is very important, it shows us who we truly are and what we truly do. If people notice that we aren’t nice, despicable, and harmful, they would consider us animals. Animals act in such a way that we can relate to them. But we don’t want anyone to be judging us and calling us animals, right? We want to have manners and be called a good name. If someone is polite, says please and thank you, they will identify us as humans/people. In this case whatever we do will be judged. And surely we want to be named people, not animals.

Don't do it, don't say it!

Have you heard the saying, “If it is not right do not do it”? Yep this quote was made by Marcus Aurelius. Do you guys know what does this mean? This means that you shall CTR 24/7. If you know that isn’t right, THEN DON’T DO IT!!! He also said another marvelous statement, “if it is not true, do not say it”. Do you know what are rumors? Yeah, they are things that people tell other people throughout the whole world! And to end it off, some of them are fake and untrue. In this case, if it isn't right, DON'T DO IT!!!; If it is not true, DON'T SAY IT!!!
