Hard Work! 

Have you heard of Tyler Haws? I haven't heard of him till' today. He was a professional basketball player in BYU. He scored many times, he was so good at it. When he was little, at 3rd grade, he was rejected by the basketball team, he was miserable. His father gave him advice to work hard and you will progress later on. He's been practicing and working hard on this very much. He then said an amazing quote, "I trust my hard work will pay off." Guess what, it certainly did, he is now a missionary working for a church. He accomplished his goal in life by working hard. 

True Independence and Freedom 

True independence and freedom! What is true independence and freedom? Well, Brigham Young has explained to us what this really means. If you don't know who Brigham Young is, he has a university named after him, BYU. He said, "True independence and freedom can only exist in doing what's right." In this case, if you choose the right, you will certainly become independent and free. Let's say you come late at school and you need to face the consequences. In this case detention! Detention is not free at all and you can't be independent if you are punished. Never underestimate this, always choose the right. Everyone wants True Independence and Freedom! 

Truly Good 

Have you heard of George Chapman! If you haven't great because I haven't either... till now! Anyway the reason why I know him now is because he said a quote that caught me thinking on what's going on in our lives. He said, "They're only truly great who are truly good." It may be short but it has loads of meaning to it. Now think about this, if you are truly good, can you become better? Of course you can! How? You'll need to improve in many other ways such as practice, studying, taking time, and more. In this case, they are only truly great when they are truly good.
