Right & Wrong

What do you think is right and what is wrong? Some people say right is bad and bad is right. William Penn wanted us to learn the definition of each one. Well, he told us a very important quote: Right is right, even if everyone is against it. Wrong is wrong even if everyone is for it”. Its that simple! If you want to do what is right then DO IT! If you don’t you won’t have the opportunity to be good but bad. Don’t do what is bad because this will lead you to many consequences. Learn from your mistakes and the right thing. If you choose the right, you can be respectful, responsible, honest etc. If you're Wrong, you will do drugs, smoke, disrespectful, etc.

Goals!

“Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now. Write down what you want most and see it often”. Peter Vidmar was also wise to tell us this quote. Peter Vidmar is an Olympian who has won many gold medals. He was doing a goal journal one time. He wanted to be an Olympian, was one of his goals. Guess what happened to him, HE BECAME ONE!!! Isn’t this a good example to us? In our class we are also doing a goal journal daily, and it helps us to try u=our best to achieve every goal we put down. Knowing this example I know that our goals will be great if we keep CTR all the time.

         Homecoming is a tradition in many high schools and colleges to invite high schoolers to “party”. This mostly started in September-October in which colleges celebrated their first football game. This is the reason why we also do it in schools, to celebrate the first football game. Many events they have for homecoming(or at least what we have) is the Spirit Week, Homecoming Game this Friday, and the Homecoming Dance. It’s called the Homecoming game because this is considered the first game of the season. The Homecoming Etiquette starts with a game, spirit week, and also a dance, the typical. I think homecoming is great because it seems like fun and you can interact with others.

A Good Name

         Coach K was very inspiring with his own goal. He said "A good name is better than anything you can achieve in this life". We should all follow his advice by inspiring each other and having a good game. If you are honest, nice, happy, and fun you are willing to have a good name. It is important to have a good name, or else no one will know who you are. You won’t achieve life if you have a bad name. If people consider your name as an alcoholic, a drug dealer, a smoker, or more if you choose that path. I consider that the wrong or bad name. Always have a good name as much as possible. For example, when you hear a CTR name what do you think of?

Global Opportunities: Careers in Other Countries

• England: England's most popular careers that they would have is being a Teacher. One of the best England schools, REESON, has many children in that particular school which also means it has the best teachers there. It is really good because you get paid a great salary

• South Korea: A really great job that can be worked in Korea is Electronics. Most of the possibilities can be LG’s, Apple’s, SONY, and more. The most popular electronics ion Korea would be Samsung's

• France: Organization Developer Manager is a really great job in Paris, France. They have high salaries, and have fun with these jobs. Some people in France even wish to have this job.

• Mexico: An actor. In most television programs there are lots of movies, dramas, and comedies from mexico. The thing that mostly attracts people in watching it is telenovelas. I mean come on, the Juan Gabriel novela is starting already and everyone in my family is watching it.

Reflection: I don't think I would want to work in another country, but if I would I'll go to South Korea to work for electronics

Reflection:I don’t think a Health Educator will be good for me, it doesn’t sound interesting

Reflection: i think a healthcare administrator is too much work, in that case I wouldn't want to be one.

Stand for rights!

Thomas S. Monson showed us a quote that helped us believe in us. He said: “If your so-called friends urge you to do anything you know to be wrong, you be the one to make a stand for right, even if you stand alone. Have the moral courage to be a light for others to follow”. Mr. Monson wanted us to know when we should choose the right. When someone wants to make you do something that you know is wrong, then revise them. Tell them what we have been teaching here, to: CHOOSE THE RIGHT. Who cares if people are making fun of you for choosing what you think is right. Never underestimate what others tell you. In fact, you shouldn’t be their friends, they can hurt you. We shall always CHOOSE THE RIGHT.

Graphic Designer

Graphic designers are employees that work to design a project and interactive process to several computers. They even include features that can help the product better. These are the things they mostly do:

• Must get ideas ahead of time for no interruptions

Reflection: I think this would be a privilege to be in a job like this because it seems fun and interactive.

This is made by one of our fellow students in our class. Her name is Noemi Trigueros and she was very generous in telling us this quote. Of course, we all know that our school’s motto is CHOOSE THE RIGHT (or CTR). She wanted us to know that the only way for us to be a champion is by choosing the right :3.

Goal setting is goal getting. Set and Get.

         Has anybody heard of the Chicken Soup in the souls series? Well this is one of the authors who did that book. One if his goals was to sill 1,000 copies, and guess what he got it! When he set his own goal he had the opportunity to achieve it. That is really great of him to tell us this quote he mentioned. I’m so sorry, I forgot to mention the author’s name, it’s Mark Victor Hansen. Anyway, back to topic Hansen wanted us to reflect on the quote I just showed you. Whenever you start a quote, what is the first thing you do? You set it. When you start achieving, progressing or close to it you will surely get it. In that case imagine how excited you will get when you finish/get your goal! Won’t that be amazing!, I bet that's how Hanson figured it out.

Columbus Day!

         Christopher Columbus was born between 31 October 1450 and 30 October 1451.  He was an Italian explorer, navigator, colonizer, and citizen of the Republic of Genoa. Columbus proposed to reach the East Indies by sailing westward, and this eventually received the support of the Spanish Crown which saw a chance to enter the spice trade with Asia through a new westward route. He reached the New World instead of arriving at Japan as he had intended, landing on an island in the Bahamas archipelago which he named "San Salvador". Over the course of three more voyages, he visited the Greater and Lesser Antilles, as well as the Caribbean coast of Venezuela and Central America, claiming all of it for the Crown of Castle. His voyages led to the first lasting European contact with the Americas, inaugurating a period of European exploration, conquest, and colonization that lasted for several centuries. These voyages had, therefore, an enormous impact in the historical development of the modern Western world. He spearheaded the transatlantic slave trade and has been accused by several historians of initiating the genocide of the Hispaniola natives. This is the information we should know in Columbus Day!

Obedience

         When Obedience becomes our goal, it is no longer a irritation; instead of a stumbling block, it becomes a building block. This quote was made by James E. Faust, and it is really intelligent. For Example, If we want to be obedient we should start building our pyramid. Once we build it, it becomes easier to climb it. But if we start making the bricks fall we won't be able to sustain it. The pyramid represents the progress of our obedience. The climbing represents the easier it is to obey, the bricks that are falling represent the obedience we have failed. If we keep failing to build the pyramid, it will tear it apart and get destroyed. Just like us, the more we disobey the more we get torn apart. We should always obey and build our pyramid.

A Veterinarian is a doctor for pets. They analyze, seek, and find the problem or gives their anual shots to the dogs. These are the certain things they usually do:
